Get a PDF file of city services phone No's.

This is a pretty handy link and PDF file so if you see a dog with out a license putting up illegal signs in rent control, you will know who to call.

Open access WiFi a huge risk! Easy to fix.

Although the problem has existed for a long time, there is now an easy to use free program called Firesheep that makes it easy to log onto your computer, get into your accounts , passwords, make changes to your pages and it is scary easy!

The fix is easy, just ask the coffee shop or where ever to add a WPA password. It doesn’t matter if the hacker knows the password, it will still isolate the issue.

Please let your local shop owners know and ask them to make this simple fix.

Mel’s diner may not have served toast but it is toast.

Mels Diner, on 4th street across the streetr from The Mills has closed it doors. Too bad it was not open for very long. It also was never busy the times I went there, guess business was not very good. Location, location, location. Actually the location was OK but it was clumped into a shopping center that did not stand out. So the 50’s diner is no more in Rancho.
